Methodology Introduction

The Colorado Health Report Card was designed to provide the state with a benchmark for measuring progress on the state’s most pressing health issues. It is a useful tool to educate, motivate and inspire health care and government leaders to take the next steps needed to improve our performance. To support our partners in these shared goals, we endeavored to make the Report Card an even more useful resource by providing the information behind the data.

With the help of the Colorado Health Institute, we have created this Web site to provide you with more in-depth information about each indicator and how we arrived at the ranks and grades.
