The Colorado Health Foundation's Fellows Program

The goal of the Fellows program is to cultivate leaders to work toward improving health and health care in Colorado.

The Fellows are a diverse group of individuals representing government, business, health care providers, consumers and the media—all of whom have the potential to influence health policy in Colorado. Meet the 2008 Fellows.

The Fellowship Experience
A year-long program, the Fellows meet throughout the year to exchange ideas and build upon the following opportunities:

  • Relationship building: The opportunity to build trust and understanding between fellows.
  • Leadership development: The opportunity to develop new leadership capacities.
  • Content expertise: The opportunity to gain expertise and understanding about our three goal areas and about relevant Colorado health care issues.
  • Foundation engagement: The opportunity to actively engage with our staff in discussions about ideas for grantmaking and programming.

The Fellowship Year
A typical fellowship year consists of:

  • Application (spring)
  • Kickoff and Colorado Health Symposium (summer)
  • Three meetings (fall, winter and early spring)

If you are interested in applying for the 2009 Fellows program, please be sure to join our mailing list so that you receive advance notice of application deadlines. For more information about this program, contact Lorez Meinhold.
