Fostering Integrated, Quality Health Care
We believe that all Coloradans should receive quality, coordinated Health Care because those who do are healthier.
What We Will Do and How
- Increase the number of underserved Coloradans who receive integrated care. We will support programs that encourage coordinated care by medical, dental and mental health providers, and efforts to reimburse providers who practice integrated care.
- Increase the number of underserved Coloradans who receive primary, mental and oral health care regularly. We will support programs that increase the capacity of safety-net clinics to reach out to underserved people in the community.
- Increase the number of medical professionals who serve underserved Coloradans. We will support programs that increase the number of health care professionals in rural areas, attract and retain professionals in rural areas, and increase the number of professionals who serve uninsured and Medicaid and CHP+ patients.
- Increase the number of patients who receive evidence-based care for chronic disease. We will support programs that improve patient outcomes through quality improvement projects, evidence-based guidelines and disease registries, and that reward professionals who achieve quality outcomes.
