Expanding Health Coverage to All

We believe that all Coloradans should have Health Coverage because people who do are more likely to receive necessary care.

What We Will Do and How

• Increase the number of children and adults who have adequate Health Coverage. We will support efforts to expand coverage options, monitor underinsurance and increase access to integrated care for publicly insured people. We will create public support for meaningful health care reform, backing efforts to engage key constituencies in health care reform debate and developing leaders in health care reform. This will include working with diverse coalitions, including business and faith communities.
• Increase enrollment of eligible Coloradans in Medicaid and Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+). We will support programs that simplify enrollment and reach out to the eligible but unenrolled. We will support efforts to expand the provider network, improve health outcomes and control costs in Medicaid and CHP+.
