The Foundation Stands with the Dreamers

Today, the Supreme Court of the United States will hear oral arguments regarding the fate of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program and over 800,000 recipients – including about 15,000 individuals in Colorado.

Young immigrants – including DACA recipients – contribute in our schools, communities, workplaces, and the armed forces. Without the contributions of immigrants and refugees now and throughout our history, our collective wellbeing and economic vitality would be greatly diminished.

Our communities are home to Coloradans who all deserve to have health in reach, regardless of their national origin, immigration status or DACA status. Keeping families together – and healthy – is key to making communities stronger, safer and more prosperous. The Foundation stands with the Dreamers, and the immigrant and refugee communities at large.
