Alyssa Gale

Visitor and IT Coordinator

Alyssa’s path to the Foundation reflects her diverse passions and her affinity for helping people – and helping them stay organized. She’s worked in administration for more than twenty years, interspersed with what she describes as her “side hustles,” which have included stints as a concierge babysitter, nanny, math tutor, manager of a yarn store, knitting and crochet teacher, and personal chef. In her role here at the Foundation, she reviews and improves current IT and Facilities systems for efficiency, is the friendly face you’ll see first at our front desk and is involved in our WELL certification process.

A sixth generation Angeleno, Alyssa came to Colorado from California in 2017. Prior to joining the Foundation, she worked for Sony and FremantleMedia, where she helped launch a television channel that airs vintage game shows. She’s a member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals and was on the board of the Pasadena chapter when she lived in Los Angeles.

At the Foundation, Alyssa is fueled by the passion of those around her and is deeply committed to our mission of improving the health of Coloradans. Her personal causes are food access and civic participation – i.e., voting! She keeps herself healthy through creative cooking and meal planning, loves to visit the Botanic Gardens in Denver and volunteers at Metro Caring and Extreme Community Makeover. For this multi-talented people person, it doesn’t really matter what she’s doing – as long as she’s doing it with great people.

“Every single thing we do is focused on Coloradans, giving to our community and has a direct line to our mission.”
