Marybeth has always had a passion for helping others and was pleasantly surprised to learn that she could make a career in the nonprofit sector. Now, after working in philanthropy for 10 years, she considers herself “a lifer” in the field.
Marybeth understands how many individuals, communities and organizations it takes to promote good health in our state, and she is grateful to be just one spoke in a wheel of people who are committed to making a positive difference.
Marybeth joined the Foundation in early 2014 and is responsible for the operations of grantmaking. On any given day, Marybeth is working to approve grants, documenting grantmaking procedures, and collaborating across departments to facilitate solutions that will make the greatest impact on the health of Coloradans.
She appreciates the opportunities to connect with the faces behind the flurry of emails and is energized when she can contribute to building and strengthening relationships with our nonprofit partners who are doing such meaningful work.
Marybeth has lived in Colorado for 18 years. She loves taking long walks with her husband, daughter and coonhound; getting together with friends and family; and topping off a day on a sun-filled, outdoor patio at one of Colorado’s many microbreweries.
