Reducing Barriers for Pregnant and Parenting Women to Access Behavioral Health Services

Promote a state public policy change to apply a two generational approach to ensuring pregnant and parenting women have access to behavioral health services. The proposed policy change would augment the state's Special Connections program, pilot two models for increasing access to child care for parents in substance use disorder treatment, and expand criminal protection of conversations between clients and behavioral health providers.
