Sambath Kong is an IT and AV Support Technician with a passion for leveraging technology to enhance user experiences. At the Foundation, he applies his expertise to support technology improvement projects, ensuring smooth operations and optimizing user experiences. Sambath’s dedication to the Foundation’s mission is fueled by his desire to contribute to the advancement of health equity and enable individuals to pursue good health.

With 20 years of technology industry experience, he has dedicated his career to providing exceptional end-user support, audiovisual assistance and technology maintenance. As an active member of ISACA, a global IT professional association focused on governance practices, Sambath engages in professional activities that foster knowledge exchange and industry collaboration.

Having recently relocated to Colorado, Sambath has embraced the state’s breathtaking landscapes. He appreciates the tranquility of mountainous road trips, his favorite way to explore Colorado. He finds springtime particularly captivating, relishing the blossoming scenery and the rejuvenating energy it brings. In his free time, Sambath prioritizes maintaining a healthy lifestyle, which involves staying physically active and nurturing positive mental and emotional well-being.

His personal journey reflects resilience and adaptability. Sambath’s life took a significant turn when he left everything behind in Cambodia to embark on a fresh start in the United States. Today, he is a loving father to three children who finds immense joy in spending quality time with his family. His commitment to family and their happiness encapsulates his belief that life is truly good when loved ones thrive.

Sambath’s commitment to professional growth is evident through his various certifications, including ITIL 4 Foundations, CompTIA A+, Azure Fundamentals, Prince2 Project Management Practitioner and Google Cloud in G Suite. He is currently working toward obtaining certification in information security management.
